Potential of Virulent New Disease Among Risks of Swine Flu Vaccine (Part 2 of 2)by Heidi Stevenson26 October 2009
As is clear from US Flu Vaccine Ingredients Are Not What You're Told, the risks from swine flu vaccines are as great as ever, but there's a twist that may make this year's swine flu prove to be the greatest vaccine disaster we've ever known. The version that's being pushed the most, the nasal spray, holds the potential of creating a more virulent influenza than has yet been seen, and to cause brain swelling at a more significant rate than injected vaccines. Old VaccinesSome of the vaccines discussed in Part 1 have some history behind them. These include GlaxoSmithKline's Pandemrix and Arepanrix, Novartis's Focetria and Fluvirin, CSL's Afluria, and Sanofi Pasteur's Fluzone. Though the current H1N1 swine flu virus wasn't used in any trials, the nature of the products is fairly well understood. This isn't exactly good news, because many severe effects have been documented. They have included immune system, cardiovascular, blood and lymphatic, metabolic and nutrition, nervous system, respiratory, skin, and appendage disorders. Is there any part of the body that's immune from flu vaccination harm? Squalene, mercury, or both are present in all the recycled swine flu vaccines. Mercury is implicated in autism and is a known neurological poison. It has no place in human metabolism. Squalene has been implicated in Iraq War Syndrome. It's touted as safe because it's naturally found in our bodies, but that is precisely why it's so risky. The purpose of injecting a vaccine is to cause the body to develop an immune response to its ingredients. Thus, it's possible that antibodies to it may be developed when squalene is forced into the body in an abnormal manner, by piercing the skin. The result would be an autoimmune disorder, with the body's immune system attacking itself. More information on squalene can be found here. Though not a focus of these two articles, the recycled vaccines also contain other toxic substances, such as formaldehyde. New VaccinesTwo new H1N1 vaccines developed this year have no history, so no significant bad responses and risks have been documented. However, Baxter's Celvapan and MedImmune's FluMist have worrisome characteristics, in spite of containing no mercury or squalene. CelvapanCelvapan has no history behind it. It is, in every respect, an entirely new vaccination using a completely different method of developing the H1N1 virus. It's grown in African green monkeys, rather than in eggs. I was unable to find any recommendations for what ages should be vaccinated with Celvapan, which is troubling. The European Medicines Agency's (EMEA) reference states: The Applicant tested whether egg-derived influenza virus vaccine strains would differ from the vero cell derived ones with respect to their biological characterisation, however, no significant differences could be detected. It is only the manufacturer's declaration that there are "no significant differences" between the monkey-based and egg-based viruses. There is no independent evidence to support the claim. Also, the term "no significant differences" is undefined. When dealing with injecting materials into people's bodies, even the tiniest differences may be significant. Not having any information as to what sorts of differences exist, other than the subjective "no significant differences", and having to rely on the manufacturer who hopes to profit from the product is worrisome. The Greatest Swine Flu Risk of All—FluMistFluMist, in spite of having no preservatives or adjuvants, may be the most worrisome vaccine of all. The narrow age range of people who are considered targets is troubling. It's to be given only to people aged 2 through 50. Then, there is a very large number of health problems that should contraindicate use in anyone with any risks of any sort. People with weakened immune systems, pregnant women, children with asthma, anyone taking aspirin (though this applies to all flu vaccines), and anyone with any sort of chronic condition or nerve disorder is not to take FluMist. This is hardly a vaccine for the masses, though it's being presented as precisely that. Why is this vaccine so dangerous? Even perfectly healthy mid-life adults over age 50 are not supposed to take it. First, note that no one who will even be in contact with someone whose immune system is compromised should have it. That's because the virus is live, not inactivated. Though it's attenuated, that is, weakened, anyone who takes FluMist is a carrier of live H1N1 influenza virus. Because it's live, it replicates and causes flu symptoms, including coughing and sneezing. The package insert says that recipients of the vaccine should stay away from anyone whose health is at risk for at least 21 days. That means that any child who goes to a classroom with another child who's asthmatic—which is nearly all classrooms nowadays—should not be given FluMist. Anyone who gets the vaccine probably shouldn't go grocery shopping for three weeks, for fear of infecting another shopper with heart disease or some other chronic condition. Though this demonstrates the absurdity of the FluMist vaccine, it this isn't the most serious concern. As documented in Mutated Polio From Vaccine Is Spreading in Africa, a live attenuated virus has the ability to mutate into a virulent strain. Influenza is noted for its ability to mutate rapidly. Obviously, it's possible that a new virulent strain of influenza might result from FluMist. The real concern, though, is how likely it would be. There is another, equally serious, concern about FluMist. Because it's delivered via nasal spray, a live virus is introduced perilously close to the brain, with the resultant risk of brain inflammation—encephalitis, a horribly painful disease that can cause death and permanent disability. This is the likely concern behind the restrictive guidelines for FluMist's delivery. Dr. Sherri Tenpenny warned about this a few years ago, originally published on the now-defunct website, Red Flags: One of the most troubling concerns over the injection of this "chemical soup" is the potential for the viruses to enter directly into the brain. At the top of the nasal passages is a paper-thin bone called the cribriform plate. The olfactory nerves pass through this bone and line the nasal passages, carrying messenger molecules to the brain that are identified as "smells" familiar to us. The olfactory tract has long been recognized as a direct pathway to the brain. Intranasal injection of certain viruses has resulted in a serious brain infection called encephalitis, presumably by direct infection of the olfactory neurons that carried the viruses to the brain. Swine Flu VaccinationSwine flu vaccinations contains the same risks inherent in previous influenza vaccines. Unfortunately, the new batch of vaccines has added grave new risks. And now, Big Pharma and the FDA are playing the lottery with FluMist. In spite of the virulent diseases caused by pharmaceuticals—C. difficile, MRSA (originally billed in news media as "the flesh-eating bacteria"), and a new virulent polio in Africa—they're playing the same game. Only this time, the odds of creating a malignant new disease are even greater, as they push another live virus vaccine, only this time for a virus that's known to mutate quickly. References:
