Norovirus Vaccine Ingredients and Risks—New Method of Vaccine Delivery

The upcoming norovirus vaccine uses genetic modification of tobacco plants to create the antigen. It includes GlaxoSmithKline's adjuvant, MPL^™ Toll-4 Agonist (MPL), and it's delivered by a brand new method—inhaling a dry powder. A full list of ingredients is not yet available—but the known ingredients expose people to risks as severe as AIDS.

Dry Powder Delivery

It sounds so good—a painless vaccination. Just suck it in. It's the method of delivery for the upcoming norovirus vaccine. Of course, it's being billed as safe and effective. It's already being marketed, using a thoroughly photoshopped image of a pretty model posing with it. The picture above is a close-up of the inhaler itself, cropped from the publicity shot. The first mass use will be with the norovirus vaccine for the next great fake pandemic.

Don't be fooled for a single minute that this product has been developed for your benefit. It's all about making vaccines easier to store, deliver, and sell. It's about profits. It's not about your health. Your health is nothing but a market to Big Pharma.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Bill Gates Foundation have funded its development and testing. As documented here, the Gates Foundation has shown its ethics to be lax in development and testing of golden rice.

Autoimmune Disorders and Vaccines

Adjuvants are used to enhance the development of antibodies. Most vaccines are now made from weakened viruses or particles of viruses that are not effective unless their action is boosted by an adjuvant.

The Adjuvant Risk

The deep dirty secret of the adjuvant industry is that they're used to create disease in laboratory animals for the purpose of studying human diseases. Injection of collagen into mice consistently results in a form of arthritis that is indistinguishable from human rheumatoid arthritis.

Merely injecting collagen—a natural substance found in all animals—results in the immune system turning on its own body. Obviously, it's well understood that adjuvants can cause serious autoimmune disorders. The technique is routinely used to create them in lab animals. Yet, the industry, the government, and our medical system persist in claiming that it's safe when used in vaccinations.

Could anything be more cynical?

Inhaling a dry powder, containing something normally found in the body and required for existence, directly into the lungs carries significant risk. Autoimmune disorders can take years to become obvious. So, mass norovirus vaccination carries grave risks that may not become obvious for years to come.

This fact is clearly known to be true. Myo-inositol is a naturally-occurring substance found in B-complex vitamins. The dry powder delivery system contains myo-inositol, and studies were done—short term studies only—on mice to give the impression that the risks of administration as a powder delivered directly to the lungs had been studied. Obviously, when a study done by a company whitewashes its product, that study should be tossed aside as valueless. Instead, the powder's manufacturer cites it on an advertising poster, available for downloading on its website.

GSK's Adjuvant, MPL

GSK's adjuvant is a unique concern. It uses aminoalkyl glucosaminide phosphate (AGP), which is a synthetic form of a naturally-occurring compound. What's worrisome is that it appears to function by triggering the immune system directly. Mice treated with AGP experience increased cytokine and inflammatory responses. At least one study has shown that AGP acts by directly modulating the immune system.

The potential danger of AGP delivery directly through the lungs is for an autoimmune response to develop against an innate part of the immune system. That is, in fact, exactly what happens in AIDS. The immune system goes so awry that it attacks itself. There is the potential of AIDS-like illness resulting from GSK's adjuvant, MPL.

Genetic Engineering

The norovirus antigen is not the virus itself, an inactivated ("killed") form, or even a protein particle. It's a duplicate of the virus's cell wall genetically-engineered from tobacco plants. Tobacco is engineered to grow a near-double of the virus's external shape.

The widely promoted claim is that this makes it entirely safe because none of the infectious material inside the virus is included. It's even being promoted as a "green" vaccine.

Dangers of Genetically Modified Food

A wide range of health effects have been documented in genetically modified (GM) foods, including

• Stomach lesions and bleeding
• Allergies
• Liver damage
• Sterility
• Death

Research into the dangers of GM has been severely hampered because companies—primarily Monsanto—have been refusing to let their GM seeds be used in such testing since the results of early tests documented serious health effects. Most of what's been learned has been the result of animal experiments and observations.

In the 1980s, 100 deaths and 5,000-10,000 illnesses resulted from one manufacturer's tryptophan supplements. Contaminants were blamed. However, no direct connection between any contaminant and the victims' symptoms was ever made. The one thing that's never been examined is the fact that the product was made using genetically engineered bacteria. The lack of research into the potential of GM being the cause does make one wonder, especially when none of the contaminants were shown to be the cause. It was only a presumption.

Many animal experiments have shown serious health effects from GM foods. However, with the manufacturers' stonewalling, it's been impossible to do independent studies on human health. Obviously, considering the enormity of harm that could occur, erring on the side of caution is the only sane course of action. Sanity, though, seems to be lacking in this arena.

Animals are known to refuse to eat GM foods.

The body of data showing severe health damage resulting from eating GM foods should make clear that it's crazy to assume safety in genetically engineered antigens, no matter what the route of application. The norovirus vaccine's application directly into the lungs should be cause for serious concern.

The Money Trail

Always, it's important to know where the money that develops and promotes so-called healthcare products comes from. So, let's see who the investors in LigoCyte, the company developing the norovirus vaccine, are:

• Forward Ventures (bioscience venture capitalist)
• JAFCO (venture capital company specializing in emerging technologies)
• Novartis Venture Fund (Big Pharma company)
• Fidelity Biosciences (venture capital company specializing in pharmaceuticals and medical devices)
• MedImmune Ventures (venture capital arm of MedImmune pharmaceutical company, a big player in the swine flu fiasco)
• Athenian Venture Partners (venture capital company specializing in life sciences and IT)
• MC Life Sciences Ventures - Mitsubishi International Corporation (Obviously, Mitsubishi isn't just a car manufacturer. This arm is a venture capital company specializing in pharmaceuticals.)

GlaxoSmithKline is a shareholder in the company. A study of the vaccine's efficacy was financed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The study, though, is under the control of the vaccine's manufacturer, LigoCyte.

This is an amazing array of money and power behind a single vaccine. It's obvious that Big Pharma is expecting to see enormous profits from the sale of norovirus vaccines. The only thing that could possibly stop Big Pharma from rolling this out would be the utter and abject failure of the current testing on humans. Even that might not stop it, considering the history of failed drug from the pharmaceutical industry.

The Propaganda Begins

Even without a complete list of ingredients, the potential of severe health damage by the norovirus vaccine should bring a stop to its rollout—especially in light of the particularly minor nature of the illness. Instead, we're seeing the beginning of a huge propaganda campaign to convince us of two lies. The first lie is that norovirus is a serious disease. The second is that the vaccine is safe.

The most frightening thing to consider, though, is that inroads were made towards forcing mass vaccinations during the fraudulent swine flu fiasco. People resisted, and only a small percentage of the population was vaccinated. Governments are now scrambling to find markets—third world nations—where they can unload their stockpile of H1N1 vaccines.

Unfortunately, the US government and Big Pharma are in collusion on the norovirus vaccine. Clearly, they aren't backing down in their vaccination campaign. We must be aware as the propaganda unfolds so that we can resist the move towards forced vaccinations.
