Samuel Hahnemann, Founder of Homeopathy (BBC Radio)
by Heidi Stevenson
14 December 2010
Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, was a brilliant, complicated, and prickly man. He was the first evidence-based medical scientist. His prickly nature and tendency to say exactly what he thought about the modern medicine of his time, along with the threat his invention posed to the apothecaries and doctors of his time, resulted in hostility from allopathy from the very beginning. Even so, an honest look at the man must acknowledge his stunning brilliance. I found this BBC broadcast of his life to be quite fascinating, and hope you enjoy it, too! [29 minutes]
Sorry. This program is no longer available. It's quite a shame, but the BBC chose to allow it to be heard for only a week.
