Claim that Massive Quakes Are Unknown in Northern Japan Is a Lie

What's worse is how blatant the lie is. Japan has known all along that massive quakes can and do occur in exactly the same location that the great Fukushima quake occurred.

We've been told, over and over, ad nauseam, that the huge earthquake and tsunami could not possibly have been predicted in northern Japan. We've been told that it's been 1,200 years since the last one, and that was before such things were recorded.

It's a lie. Nothing more or less than that. What's worse, you don't have to go any further than Wikipedia to prove it!

"The True History of Three Reigns of Japan" (Nihon Sandai Jitsuroku, 日本三代実録)), tells about an enormous quake that hit in July of 869 followed by a massive tsunami. Here is how it was described:

The sea soon rushed into the villages and towns, overwhelming a few hundred miles of land along the coast. There was scarcely any time for escape, though there were boats and the high ground just before them. In this way about 1,000 people were killed.

Sounds familiar, doesn't it? The quake and tsunami hit in the same place as the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The primary difference is that the area was sparsely populated in 869.

The tsunami was known to have rushed at least three kilometers inland into the Sendai plains where Fukushima and Sendai and others once stood.

There was nothing unprecendented about the quake and tsunami. There is absolutely no excuse for not being aware that it's happened before.

By the way, though the official record says that the ancient quake is estimated at about 8.3 on the Richter Scale, the fact is that it's also estimated that it caused the fault to slip more than 7 meters—about 3 times more than the current quake moved Japan.

Like nearly everything else we've been told—and all the falsehoods we've been told by omission—even the claim that it couldn't have been known, that there was no way to predict such a catastrophe because it had never happened before...All of it is a lie.

How many people will have died because of that lie? How many will die from radiation poisoning over the next 50 years or more because of that lie?

And when will that lie become known to the people of Japan?
