The Elephants in the Autism Room—Big Pharma Money and Sudden Onsetby Heidi Stevenson4 July 2009
There are now 12 times more children with autism in the UK than 30 years ago. This is a condition that destroys the fullness of life, denying people any chance at most of life's joys. The strongest evidence for the causes of this horrifying increase are vaccinations and heavy metal pollution. As these children reach adulthood, what is going to happen? Most are unable to care for themselves—who will care for them? Two elephants are crowding the autism room—Big Pharma money and the fact that most of these children were not born autistic. The Big Pharma ElephantThe vaccination industry has purchased the support of the American Pediatrics Academy and the American Medical Assocation. Studies on vaccinations are largely funded by the industry and run by Pharma-paid "researcher". Doctors who speak out against it are attacked. Although usually a conduit for vaccination propaganda, there are a few cracks in the veneer of mainstream media. Here's an exposé by CBS's Katie Couric on how Big Pharma has bought the doctors and organizations that promote vaccinations:
The Sudden Onset ElephantThe point that most often seems lost in the arguments claiming no connection between vaccinations and autism is the lack of explanation for why children who were perfectly normal before vaccinations become ill afterwards. This is not how autism developed in children before the current pandemic. Until about 30 years ago, children were born with autism. They never developed normally. Most of the children who now have autism start life with normal development—and then go backwards, developing symptoms of autism. How can such a significant point be ignored—especially in light of the destruction of lives and the upcoming enormous burden on society as they enter adulthood? A medical industry that either can't see this elephant or ignores it clearly doesn't hold these children's welfare at heart. Where are their studies to try to find the cause? The entire issue of autism and vaccinations is argued in a room with two elephants crying out to be heard. Those who fund the pseudo-research and promote them are those who profit, and the fact that the new autism epidemic is happening in children who were previously health is ignored. Until these two factors are resolved, how can anyone in conscience proclaim them safe? References: |
