England Is Planning on Forced Vaccinations

England appears to be quietly planning to force vaccinations on all people, including children. It's being done by a three-step method. The first was to create the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) as an "advisory" group for the NHS. The second is to effectively give their "suggestions" the weight of law. They are making the decisions about what vaccinations everyone is to have.

On 11 April of this year, the Health Protection (Vaccination) Regulations 2009 came into effect. The NHS's abstract⁽¹⁾ states:

The Regulations put an obligation on the Secretary of State to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable and subject to certain conditions, that decisions of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation are implemented.

That gives the JCVI's decisions virtually the weight of law.

JCVI Members' Big Pharma Connections

As documented by JCVI's last biennial report, many of its members are beholden to pharmaceutical corporations.⁽²⁾

• Professor David Goldblatt consults for Wyeth, Sanofi Pasteur, and ACE Biosciences, and receives industrial support from GlaxoSmithKline, Chiron, Sanofi Pasteur, and Merck.
• Professor Paul Griffiths receives fees from the Wellcome Trust and the International Herpes Management Forum. He has a patent application and receives royalties for a process involving diagnosis of cytomegalovirus infection by means of polymerase chain reaction. He rreceives further industrial support from AiCuris and Novartis for antiviral drugs, and from Sanofi Pasteur. His department has applied for a patent for a patent for a vaccine for prevention of cytomegalovirus infections.
• Professor Simon Kroll has received a grant from Wyeth, and his research laboratory is partially funded by Sanofi Pasteur. He is a member of the scientific advisory committee of the Lister Institute.
• Dr. Ahmed Syed has received research grants from GlaxoSmithKline and Aventis Pasteur.
• Professor Jonathan Friedland has received payment from Merck Sharp & Dhome for a training course.
• Ms. Anne McGowan was sponsored by Wyeth for a vaccination conference.
• Dr. Raymond Borrow has received consulting money from Baxter Bioscience, GlaxoSmithKline, Norvartis, Sanofi Pasteur, and Wyeth. His travel to meetings has been funded by GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, and Wyeth. He has been paid for HPV immunoassays by Merck, and Neisseria meningitidis immunoassays by Wyeth, Emergent BioSolutions, Norvartis, Baxter Biosciences, Sanofi Pasteur, MSD, GlaxoSmithKline, and Merck. He's received industrial support from Alexion Pharmaceuticals.
• Professor Brent Taylor received a grant to support a research assistant from GlaxoSmithKline.
• Dr. Paul Jackson was sponsored by Wyeth for attend the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Mrs. Pauline MacDonald received funding from Sanofi Pasteur MSD for immunisation study.
• Dr. Stephen Inglis has received industrial support from Novartis and Sanofi Pasteur for influenza vaccines, from GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi Pasteur for HPV vaccines, and from GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi Pasteur for rotavirus. Within the two years of the JCVI's biennial report, he had received contracts from Alba, Angel Biotechnology, Baxter, Bayer, BBT Biotech, BD Pharmingen, Bharat, Biocon Ltd, Biofact, BioFarma, Biolegend Inc, BPL, CADILA, Celsus Labs, Chiron, CSL Ltd; CRT, Dilafor, eBioscience, Endell Veterinary Group, GeneMedix, Glycart, Grifols, GlaxoSmithKline, GTC Biotherapeutics, Immunobiology plc, ISEAO, Julphar, LGC, Miltenyi Biotec, Novartis, Novocastra, Octapharam, Paion, Pfizer, Pharmaceutical Scientist Inc, Plasso, Powdermed, Roche, Sanofi Pasteur, Santa Cruz, Serono, Serum Institute of India, Siemens, Solstice, Stabilitech, Stago, Tepnel, West Pharma, Vectura, Wockhardt Ltd, and Wyeth.

These are the Big Pharma connections that the JCVI members have admitted to. It doesn't necessarily include funds given to organisations with which they're associated. They are the people who are making the decisions about what vaccinations you must have, and even whether you can refuse them to your children and yourself.

Do you believe their claim that "UK data show no evidence of adverse impacts of vaccination on children with mitochondrial disorders"?⁽³⁾

Do you believe their claim that no "causal link had been established between vaccination, encephalopathy and onset of autism in children with mitochondrial dysfunction"?⁽³⁾

Do you believe their claim that "the number of vaccine doses that have been administered so far [in] these cases are not likely to be linked to the vaccination as they fall within expected rates for these conditions [Guillain Barré syndrome and Bell's palsy]"?⁽⁴⁾

The Rest of the Story

The JCVI's minutes state:

You [the citizen, including children] have the right to receive the vaccinations that the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation recommend that you should receive under an NHS provided national immunisation programme.

And a new patient responsibility:
You should participate in important public health programmes such as vaccination.

The NHS has done an end-run around Parliament. Until the JCVI's recommendations were given the force of law, only Parliament had the power to require vaccinations. Now, though, the NHS has managed to define a "right to vaccination" for everyone, including children. At this point, what that means when the child's parents are opposed to vaccination is not entirely clear. Of course, the NCVI is aware of this and is planning to raise a legal challenge in the virtually certain event of a parent challenge. The government would be required to provide a Guardian for that child to protect his or her "right to vaccination" against the child's parents. In such a lopsided case, with the power of the State arrayed against the parents, what chance exists for the preservation of the right to not have a vaccination?

The Implications

At this point, it does not appear that any repercussions for bad decisions can come back to haunt the members of JCVI. They are a law unto themselves, granted the ability to force the people of England to give up the sanctity of their own bodies. These people are beholden only to Big Pharma.

They have been given such power without the light of public inquiry. No democratic process has been involved. It has been done behind closed doors. Power and control over the sanctity of our bodies has been ceded to Big Pharma corporations.

Protest!

A protest against enforced vaccination has been scheduled in front of Parliament on the third of October. Whether you're in favor of vaccinations or not, you should be there. This is not only about vaccinations. It's about freedom and rights.
