The FDA has raided a dentist to seize probiotics. Let that sink in. While approving drugs that kill, the FDA has chosen to harrass a citizen for stocking and selling healthy products and making factual claims about them! They literally raided UAS Laboratories of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Their crime? Telling the truth, that probiotics can improve health. They stated: UAS Laboratories said the products could treat or prevent colds, flu, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, yeast infections, ulcers, and high cholesterol. The company markets the products in the United States and internationally. Here's a list of products the FDA has seized:
The FDA has equated these products with drugs. They contain nothing but items that are food. Yet, they are equating them with drugs and, in effect, demanding that these food products go through the same sort of approval process that pharmaceutical drugs do. They have not even attempted to back up its claim that these products are not beneficial or helpful to prevent disease. They haven't claimed that the products were adulterated or deficient in any way. They have simply set out to destroy a company doing business because it's in competition with the FDA's masters, Big Pharma. The FDA is actively destroying honest businesses and removing our right to access healthy products that we wish to purchase. There can be little doubt that their intention is to shut down Big Pharma and Big Medicine's competition and handing the business over to Big Pharma. It's time and past time to stop this! They don't have an e-mail address to contact them—but we have their phone numbers, including the FDA Commissioner's office.
