Taiji Dolphin Slaughter—Please Sign Petition to Stop It.

This secretly-shot video graphically shows the wholesale slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan. It's merciless. The dolphins are herded into a cove and exit is stopped by nets. The nets are drawn in, tighter and tighter, as the men kill them, one by one, with knives. The dolphins suffer both physically and with fear. Maimed dolphins are hooked and dragged to the slaughter area as they struggle. [10:24]

The same people doing this also sell dolphins for entertainment—and they do it at the same time the slaughter goes on, selecting a small number for sale around the world. The same groups that claim to be saving whales and dolphins purchase from this same slaughter.
